TCS DOJ Delay – What HR Said This Week

 This week, I reached out again — like many of you — hoping for some clarity on our long-awaited TCS Date of Joining (DOJ).

The response? Still vague. Still no fixed date. Just the same “project is delayed,” “you’ll be informed soon,” “please wait for the next update.”

But how long can we wait silently?       

What HR Is Telling Candidates This Week?

I’ve collected feedback from multiple Telegram and WhatsApp groups where TCS aspirants are actively sharing updates.

Here’s a summary of what HR told us this week (July 21–25, 2025):

1. "Project is delayed. Joining will be extended."

 Repeated from previous weeks, no clear timeline.

2. "Wait for a new DOJ communication from the iBegin portal."

But most candidates can’t even access the portal now.

3. "Your joining will happen in upcoming months."

  But no official month is committed.

4. Some candidates asked for joining in October

HR replied: “Currently, no fixed DOJ for October either.”

5. No acknowledgment of offer expiration or compensation.

Why This Is a Problem?

We’re not freshers. We’re not interns.

Most of us have:

Resigned from stable jobs

Relocated or stayed jobless for months

Lost other job opportunities while waiting

And now, the only communication we get is “please wait”?

 My Conversation With TCS HR (This Week)

I personally reached out and got a short reply:

> “Dear Candidate,

Due to unforeseen project delays, your onboarding is postponed. You will receive communication once a new DOJ is scheduled.”

That’s it. No apology. No support. Just automated responses.

We’ve been hearing the same lines since May 2025.

Even the iBegin portal has started denying access to many selected candidates — which is highly concerning.

Is the offer still valid?

Will our DOJ be in August, October, or next year?

We don’t know.

My Thoughts

We’re not angry. We’re disappointed.

TCS, as India’s biggest IT company, should lead with transparency, not silence.

If there’s a real delay — explain it.

If the offers are no longer valid — be honest.

If onboarding will happen later — give an official estimated date.
