TCS Onboarding Delay: AIITEU Union Demands Justice for 500+ Waiting Employees
Today, I came across a press release by AIITEU (All India IT and ITES Employees’ Union) that truly reflects what many of us have been feeling — frustration, helplessness, and silence from HR.
If you’re someone like me who’s been waiting endlessly for your TCS joining, this blog is for you.
What's Happening?
TCS had issued offer letters to 500+ experienced and freshers professionals, all expecting to join in July 2025.
But till now — no update, no joining date, no HR contact.
Many candidates can’t even log in to the IBegin portal anymore. I personally know friends who resigned from their earlier jobs only because they trusted the TCS brand.
AIITEU Finally Speaks Up
In their official press note, AIITEU slammed TCS’s onboarding practices and called it out as a breach of trust. And I agree with them 100%.
They said:
> “Whether the employer-employee relationship is established or not, the magnitude of impact can’t be ignored.”
That hit hard. Because it’s true — for us, this isn’t just a “delay.” It’s real-life impact:
1.No income
2.Daily mental stress
3.Zero communication
This Isn’t New
AIITEU also reminded everyone that DXC did the same in 2024, delaying onboarding of 5000 candidates.
They had written to the Ministry of Labour back then, and now they’re forced to send another letter, this time regarding TCS.
What AIITEU Is Demanding:
1. Immediate onboarding of all shortlisted candidates.
2. Compensation for the financial and emotional toll we’re facing.
I strongly support these demands. We waited in good faith. We followed every instruction. And now we’re just left hanging?
My Thoughts
It’s not just about one company.
It’s about our dignity as professionals.
We’re not interns. We’re not students.
We’re qualified, skilled professionals who left jobs based on official offer letters.
> Why send an offer if you don’t mean to onboard us?
Why I’m Writing This?
I started this blog – JoinKabMilega – because like you, I’m tired.
Tired of waiting,
guessing, and refreshing emails.
And now, seeing AIITEU speak up gives me hope.
