I came across a news update that could be a turning point for all of us waiting for TCS onboarding: > **"Labour Ministry summons TCS over onboarding delay of 600 lateral hires"**  Meeting set for August 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Shramav Jayate Bhawan, New Delhi. >Yes — the Government of India’s Labour Ministry has officially summoned TCS for a discussion, following a formal complaint by the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES)  . Why This Matters: For too long: 1.We received no concrete information from HR 2.Candidates resigned from other jobs trusting the TCS brand 3.No clear timelines were communicated Now, this summons means our collective concerns have reached government levels. TCS DOJ Delay – What HR Said This Week

 This week, I reached out again — like many of you — hoping for some clarity on our long-awaited TCS Date of Joining (DOJ). The response? Still vague. Still no fixed date. Just the same “project is delayed,” “you’ll be informed soon,” “please wait for the next update.” But how long can we wait silently?        What HR Is Telling Candidates This Week? I’ve collected feedback from multiple Telegram and WhatsApp groups where TCS aspirants are actively sharing updates. Here’s a summary of what HR told us this week (July 21–25, 2025): 1. "Project is delayed. Joining will be extended."  Repeated from previous weeks, no clear timeline. 2. "Wait for a new DOJ communication from the iBegin portal." But most candidates can’t even access the portal now. 3. "Your joining will happen in upcoming months."   But no official month is committed. 4.  Today, I came across a press release by AIITEU (All India IT and ITES Employees’ Union) that truly reflects what many of us have been feeling — frustration, helplessness, and silence from HR. If you’re someone like me who’s been waiting endlessly for your TCS joining, this blog is for you. What's Happening ? TCS had issued offer letters to 500+ experienced and freshers professionals, all expecting to join in July 2025. But till now — no update, no joining date, no HR contact. Many candidates can’t even log in to the IBegin portal anymore.
